Grade 17-4 PH (630)
Type 17-4 is a martensitic precipitation hardening (maraging) steel that combines high strength and hardness with excellent corrosion resistance. A simple one-step aging treatment in the range of 900 to 1150 degrees hardens the alloy to its design strength levels.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
High strength fittings, valves, bolts, shafting, pump parts, medical instruments.
